Seizures
|
| Most seizures in children are very brief, but if it is prolonged you should take the following steps. First, place him on his back on a carpeted floor or on the bed with his head tilted to the side.
If the seizure last more than three to five minutes, if he stops breathing or vomits, you should activate your local emergency services. When the seizure stops you should notify your doctor for further treatment.
Do not place anything in your child's mouth to bite down on while he is having the seizure.
